2. Information We Receive
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US:
Information About Yourself. When you sign up for Seedplay.com you provide us with your name and email. For all donor registrants of Seedplay.com, your profile will only be viewable by authorized employees of The Sparrow Fund and its affiliates. For students, faculty and administrator registrants, the information you provide to us will be sent to your designated school administrator(s) for verification and approval before you can begin using Seedplay.com. You will also be able to add a photo of yourself to your profile. For all registrants, once you register you can provide other information about yourself and interact with Seedplay.com in a number of ways, including posting a paragraph about yourself on your profile, connecting your Seedplay.com account with your Facebook account, viewing a Seedplay.com project, following a Seedplay.com project and donating to a Seedplay.com project.
Information About Seedplay.com Projects. All Seedplay.com projects are created or developed by students (either individually or in a group) from schools that partner with us and our affiliates to use the Seedplay.com platform and an educational tool in their schools. All Seedplay.com projects must first submitted through the website and then sent to the designated school administrator(s) for approval. All Seedplay.com projects require at least one faculty sponsor from the submitting student’s school and the faculty sponsor must also be a verified registrant of Seedplay.com. Once a Seedplay.com project has been approved by the faculty sponsor and the designated school administrator, the Seedplay.com project will be made available for viewing to all Seedplay.com registrants. We do not provide personally identifiable information (such as full names, ages, location, or contact information) about the students and the faculty sponsors involved with any Seedplay.com projects. We do provide minimal information to allow Seedplay.com registrants to distinguish between similar project on Seedplay.com (including first name and last initial, name of the school; but not the location of the school). We also provide information about donors to each Seedplay.com project, and this information is made available on profile page of each Seedplay.com project. We do not allow for Seedplay.com registrants to perform queries and/or searches for any individual registrant or school. We do, however, allow student registrants to provide their friends and family with information specifying how to access the student’s particular Seedplay.com project.
Content. Seedplay.com is a groundbreaking cross-curricula real-world learning program designed to empower an extended community to participate in and support individually designed student projects that give back to their classroom, school, and community. Students create a project plan, assemble the project team with the help of collaborators and their faculty sponsor, post their project summary and their wishlist for the project on Seedplay.com, and then donors can support each individual project that they would like to support.
